
Faculty-Led Study Tours
In a faculty-led study tour, professors and staff from the College of Business accompany students on study tours lasting 1 to 6 weeks. Both graduate and undergraduate level students participate in these programs. As the trips are short, it is a great option for first-time travelers and students whose personal, professional, or academic situation does not allow them to be out of the country for an extended period.

Spring 2026 Mexico & the Bahamas Cruise Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can take part in a 6-day Virgin Cruise line voyage. Experience the intersection of hospitality management, destination marketing, and service operations while visiting Cozumel, Mexico, and Bimini, Bahamas. The program runs from March 8 to March 13, 2026. Students will earn 3 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. The program will explore the operations of cruise ship management, destination marketing, and promotion strategies.

2026 Costa Rica Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can participate in a 7-day study abroad program in San José, Costa Rica. The program runs from May 9 to May 16, 2026. Students will earn 3 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. The Costa Rica Study Tour will include guided tours to companies, cultural centers, and government agencies, as well as free time for individual activities. Lectures will be provided in English by university professors. The program is open to students in economics (majors/minors) and other business majors/minors.

2026 France Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can take part in a 3-week study abroad program in Lyon, France. The program runs from June 28 to July 17, 2026. Students will earn up to 6 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. The program enjoys engaging lectures taught in English by FAU faculty, hands-on tastings, and excursions to vineyards and local markets. Students will gain a deep appreciation for France’s food and wine heritage and valuable insights into the global food industry. Knowledge of French is not a requirement.

2026 Ireland Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can take part in a 3-week international business program in Dublin, Ireland. The program runs from June 13 to July 3, 2026. Students will earn up to 6 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. The program will see International Business in action, visiting local breweries/distilleries and taking part in events and activities. Participants will enjoy some of Ireland's most famous sites, such as the Giant’s Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher, Dunluce Castle, Belfast, Kilkenny, and the Wicklow Mountains.

2026 Rome, Florence, & Milan, Italy Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can take part in a 3-week business program in Rome, Florence, and Milan, Italy. The program runs from June 1 to June 19, 2026. Students will earn 3 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. Students will explore global business, culture, and communications through exclusive tours of world-famous brands such as Prada, Versace, and Disaronno, as well as visits to iconic soccer clubs and world-class museums. From Rome's ancient marketplaces and historical monuments to Tuscany's vineyards for wine tasting and lunches, leather and gold designers, and kitchens where you will learn the art of Italian cooking, to Milan's fashion houses, you'll see firsthand how Italian culture and commerce connect. Knowledge of Italian is not required.


2026 Italy Study Tour
All FAU undergraduate and graduate students can take part in a 3-week international business program in Bologna, Italy. The program runs from June 21 to July 10, 2026. Students will earn up to 6 credits toward their undergraduate or graduate degree program. The program will see International Business in action, visiting local food and wine industry participants, including vineyards, olive groves, food markets, wine producers, food manufacturers, farms, and restaurants. Knowledge of Italian is not required.

2026 Seville, Spain Study Tour
All undergraduate students can take part in a 6-week study abroad program. The program runs from May 17 to June 26, 2026. Students can earn up to nine credits toward their undergraduate degree at FAU by taking one management course, one marketing course, and an optional three-credit internship with a local company in Spain, all under the direction of FAU COB faculty. Knowledge of Spanish is not required.
