Executive MBA Alum Jonathan Beskin 15' on Delivering Paradise
Like many students pursing an Executive MBA at Florida Atlantic University, Jonathan Beskin was looking to leverage his degree for corporate ladder credibility in the financial sector where he worked. Little did he imagine a course topic on recurring revenue businesses would ignite his entrepreneurial spirit and lead him to launching a monthly subscription box service before graduating and landing on Inc. 500’s list of top 200 fast-growing companies (2020), right alongside Uber.
FAU Emeritus Professor of Marketing Donates $2 Million to University
Florida Atlantic University has received an estate gift pledge of more than $2 million from College of Business emeritus professor Eric Shaw ’72, ’73, Ph.D. This generous gift will benefit various athletics, business, arts and letters, and other university programs, and makes Shaw the largest FAU faculty or staff donor in the university’s history, after former assistant professor Dick Schmidt ’71.
