The Executive Education programs in the College of Business welcomed an inquisitive cohort of almost 40 international students from IBS Americas for a three-week immersive learning experience on marketing, business and the digital economy.

This year's cohort was the largest since its inception, boasting 38 students in January, up from 15 a year ago. Participants coming from a diverse selection of educational backgrounds took three courses for their certificate program: innovation management in the digital economy, stock market analysis & investment decisions, and business english.

"This is an immersive international business education experience that allows students and our programs to have a cultural exchange and global networking opportunity," said Belinda Millet, assistant director in the Executive Education programs. "It is wonderful to witness the professional and personal growth opportunities for each of our participants."

IBS Americas, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is an international organization that offers short-term international courses, master classes and online courses for career growth with partner universities.

Students learned from experienced instructors of FAU and other seasoned professionals, and visited prominent companies such as PTI Boca Raton and Mana Tech.
