"My time in the Accounting PhD program at FAU was an important part of my academic journey. The program helped me grow as both a researcher and a teacher and gave me many opportunities to learn, develop my research, and present my work at academic conferences. What I appreciated most was the support and guidance I received from the faculty throughout the program. I also met wonderful people and made friendships that made the PhD journey much more enjoyable. Looking back, I’m grateful for my experience at FAU and for how much it prepared me for the next step in my academic career and I am proud to be an FAU PhD graduate.” Dr. Sara Khaled, 2026
"FAU’s Accounting PhD program will get you where you want to go. The program connects you with faculty with strong track records in high-quality research and publication, both in the school of accounting and other business areas. This is evident by FAU’s recent R1 designation. Something else I enjoyed about the PhD program is the teaching experience I was able to gain alongside the research training. Additionally, the student lab has high-quality equipment and is a good environment to work in. I would recommend the program to anyone who is serious about an academic research career in accounting."
