Why get a MAC TAX Concentration?

The Master of Accounting (MAC) and the Master of Tax (MTX) degree programs share the same goal: to provide accounting education to a diverse group of students to help them become successful professionals in local, national, and global enterprises. This goal will be accomplished by providing programs that aid students in developing technical, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and lifelong learning skills.

MAC TAX at FAU

FAU’s highly selective Masters of Accounting program is flexible and self-directed. The program accommodates both full-time students as well as students that wish to work full-time while pursuing their master’s degree. Graduates from the program have a high employment rate and are more prepared for the CPA exam. The passing rate on the CPA exam is higher for students with a MAC than for students with just a bachelor’s degree.
