Why get a MAC-AIS concentration?

The MAC AIS concentration gives students the ability to tie accounting concepts to the wider spectrum of critical IT-related issues affecting global business. This program prepares graduates for careers in public accounting, industry and government. It is one of today’s most in-demand degrees and emphasizes the building of skills necessary to succeed in the business community, including teamwork, leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively.

MAC at FAU

FAU’s highly selective Masters of Accounting program is flexible and self-directed. The program is available to full-time and part-time students. Graduates from the program have a high employment rate and are more prepared for the CPA exam. The passing rate on the CPA exam is higher for students with a MAC than for students with just a bachelor’s degree.
